2A Barn Fire

At 11:17 County Dispatched Station 510 to 222 Georgetown Road for a Barn Fire. Truck 510 direcected by Lt. Amos Fisher responded with a crew of 5 to find a well involved barn. Lt. Fisher assumed command and requested the second alarm. Tanker 510 was ordered to nurse the truck. Engine 5101 went to the fill site. Many companies assisted Station 510 on this call. Overturned in the Creek

At 13:04 County Dispatched Engine 5-10-1, 5-10-2, and Engine 5-1-1 were dispatched to the 1600 Block of Sidesmill Road for a report of an overturned vehicle with entrapment in the creek. Engine 5-10-2 direcected by Lt. Amos Fisher responded with a crew of 5 to find an overturned van in the creek with one mail occupant out with the help of bystanders. Lt. Fisher assumed command and recalled Engine 5-1-1 and requested Engine 5-10-2 use pigs to protect the possibility of fluid leakage into the creek from the vehicle. Squad 5-10 responded as well to assist the Engine Crew.
