Here at Strasburg Fire Company we use a variety of fund raisers and events to establish our annual operating budget.
Annual Spring SALE The last Saturday of each February is the kickoff of the Lancaster County Mud Sale Season and it starts right here at the Strasburg Fire Company! The donation and consignment sale begins at 8:00 AM on the last Saturday of February and runs all day. Items to be sold include: Quilts, Crafts, Furniture, Farm Equipment, Horses, Yard Equipment, Bicycles, Misc. Stuff, Building Equipment, and much, much more! The Food Services Committee will have lots of good food available. **Please Note - The Quilt Type Crafts will start being sold at 8:00 AM. 38'th Annual Spring Sale - Saturday February 25, 2012 - 08:00 am Fall Auction & Quilt Sale On October 1, 2011 we will be hosting our annual Quilt, Crafts, Antiques, Sheds, Shrubbery and lot's of good food!! This is held at our fire station at 203 Franklin St. Doors open at 7:00 AM and we sell until everything is sold.
November Turkey Dinner Each year we host our famous Turkey Supper. Located at the Firehouse, it will be held on November 8th, 2008 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The meal includes fresh baked turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, peas, and desserts. Prices are $10.00 per adult, $6.00 per child (age 5-13), kids under 5 eat free. All meals are served family style - all you can eat. Takeouts are also available from 3 to 7 PM. Adult servings only.
We hold our breakfast on the fifth Saturday of the month. We offer eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, pastries, juice and coffee.
Meetings & Elections Meetings of the Strasburg Fire Company #1 are held on the first Thursday of each month at 8:00 PM. Our fiscal year runs from May 1 through April 30. Elections are held during the May meeting. Hall Rentals We offer a variety of unique facilities for your needs. We have a dining area with a full kitchen as well as small and large meeting rooms for large groups, sales, or other events needing space. Click HERE for information
